wake up in the morning feeling like p.diddy like making breakfast for myself!

plain rosti, french toast and a cup of swiss miss chocolate - great way to start the morning. i know, my french toast looks a bit like tau guah and the rosti looks like roti prata here HAHAHA and i think i added a little too much oil/butter.

its a very wet morning. the rain woke me up cause it was too noisy. i heard Wendy's at Liat Towers is re-opening today. *stares at the window. hurhur, good luck to them (:

i regretted taking off today cause initially i took off so that i can skip certain things, but that cannot be carried out in wet weather so it was cancelled eventually...oh well. dont complain too much.

just renewed my playlist. i understand that its very irritating once the music plays by itself whenever you visit this page and you have to go click PAUSE hahahaha but i've already changed the settings to non-auto play but it doesnt seem to work very well!

omg only 2 more ann-dee-pees left! wheeee! let me do a breakdown of the next THREE frigging months. after ndp i'll have a block leave. then i'll countdown to my *coughs* birthday, then i'll finish up my huge-ass project at work, then i probably will need a month to clear all my leave/off. then its nov! guys, isnt this oh-so-exciting wahahaha.

initially i was a little reluctant to take off this week cause there really isnt nothing much going on, both work and social life. (hints i'm very free this weekend haha!) but i guess its time i gave myself a short break after slogging for the past few weeks. And especially after today's meeting which bombarded my brain with a pile of even more new shit, i really need a kit-kat.

but its the WRONG week to be on off this week cause the whole world's so busy!

enough of ranting.

i had a Taiwan Porridge buffet dinner at Quality Hotel. i'm a sucker for buffets, but the aftermath of a eat-all-you-want meal? indigestion. i never fail to regret having eaten TOO much, despite knowing that i dont have a very strong digestive system. back to the buffet, i've no idea why its a Taiwan porridge buffet. first, i dont see how popiah and ice kacang is related to Taiwan. second, the porridge is neither famous nor delicious, and i only had half a bowl, haha. i guess its just their way of making the buffet sound cheaper. priced at only $11.80, you get a surprisingly large spread of food. being typical singaporeans, always attack the most expensive dish. i remembered i was once at a buffet salad bar and smoked salmon salad was one of the more expensive items available. i 'rummaged' through the whole tray but my search for salmon slices was unfortunately to no avail. i was so disappointed. how kind of some people to leave the greens behind and take away all the meat like hungry vultures.

anyways, if you're hungry and dont wish to burn a hole in your pocket, i recommend the above buffet.

NDP is coming! i can feel my weekends coming back wahahaha

i knew this would happen. i shouldnt have said anything. and i'm fucking regretting it now. i brought all these upon myself so i have no one to blame but myself. damnit. i wanna put a bullet through my head.

i'm so happy cause i bought 2 pints of Ben&Jerry's ice cream! :P


the only redeeming factor of being forced involved in NDP is that i can watch the rehearsals every week, and of course the live show on the actual day itself! the location i am at is very good for taking pictures.

i was watching 星光传奇 (as you know i got my sunday nights back wahahaha!) and i feel that one of the best performances is 許仁杰's 一次幸福的機會. went to youtube to do a search and found out that 劉若英 sang this song too! 奶茶's new songs are pretty good. like, 我們沒有在一起 and 我不想念. they're all in my playlist now, yah i finally changed the songs. please listen to them, its worth checking out! 我不想念 is this week's 龙虎榜榜首!
